Its funny, I just got Gary North’s “Tools of Dominion” in the mail and the first place I opened, I saw the page heading “SELLING THE BIRTHRIGHT: THE RATIFICATION OF THE U.S. CONSTITUTION” as appendix H and thought, wow, thats an interesting title… It ended up covering this line of thinking a little bit. I guess if I don’t stir up anything here I’ll start digging in his direction more.

Not Orthodox myself, but I know some. And all whom I know are liberty lovers. Personally, I’m bent towards reformation theology. Seems anyone in other denominations not entrapped in statism is an anomaly.

Dig in to covenant/reformation theology. Its a small remnant here in the west, though it was our roots. The people completely in line with reformational thinking today have political views that would be considered libertarian or anarchic, in the orderly sense of the term. They were the christians who backed Ron Paul, while the majority are blinded by a red white and blue rag cheering for statists like Santorum. If your a reader look for books by Rushdoony http://amzn.to/17TeRNL , or older works by Calvin. Though probably avoid most modern “Calvinist” works, since they are as far from Calvin as most Christians are far away from Christ.

Not sure how this functions here, but many affiliate links hold for a certain number of days or weeks in their browsers cookies. I get 30 days on amazon links in one of my stores.

Books and music are areas I have a slight sympathy for some kind of protection. But ultimately if your worth duplicating, your work will get in more peoples hands and you’ll be more popular anyways for future projects. There has to be a thousand other angles to it as well.
