    Dr. J,

    I often listen to Russ Roberts’ podcast EconTalk. I recently came across one discussing wealth and prosperity in ancient Greece and I was wondering what your opinion on the matter is. The podcast states that the standard view is that ancient Greece was very poor, but the guest, Josiah Ober, argues that is not the case and backs it up with information from studies he’s been doing.
