Are there any good U.S. History textbooks that you recommend to go along with the lectures?

I’m just wondering if you know of any that have more of a libertarian perspective as opposed to a left wing bias.

    Thanks

Not as a general textbook. Dr. Woods’s PIG to American History can be used for that purpose.

I am looking for suggestions for a history book to present to our 5th grade students as an end of school year gift. We are an independent, private school. We cover history up to about 1787 in 5th grade. We would purchase around 60 books.

    Thanks
