    Grover Cleveland? I was expecting to to hear such a lecture during the US History Since 1877.
    If not do you have any recommended reading materials?

    There is a recent book on Grover Cleveland that treats him sympathetically: Ryan S. Walters, The Last Jeffersonian. But it leaves a great deal to be desired. Other reasonably sympathetic treatments are Allan Nevins, Grover Cleveland: A Study in Courage and Alyn Brodsky, Grover Cleveland: A Study in Character.
