In an online debate with the nutty Father Clifford Stevens, he claimed that he was a member of the Aquinas School of Economics.

As far as I can tell, he’s the only member.

But I am curious if such a thing actually exists, or if he’s made it up out of whole cloth.

Has anyone else heard of this?

“Aquinas School of Economics’? I’ve never encountered this. Is it meant to be an actual organisation of some kind or is he referring to economics done according to the thought of Aquinas? If the latter, this is going to be quite difficult to elaborate as St Thomas wrote practically nothing on the topic. I have a few paragraphs on St Thomas on economic matters that might be relevant in my 2nd part of the History of Political Thought lectures which I’ve just completed and which should be available shortly.

Thanks. This is about what I’d thought, but I’d hate to be missing anything.
