    Is there a way to download the slides and is there a book or books the contain the statistics you have in some of the notes?

    Both the PowerPoint slides for each lecture and a bibliography for the course should be posted soon. That they were not posted with the launch of the course was an unfortunate oversight. Thanks for alerting us to the problem.

    I’m not sure why the slides and references aren’t posted with the course. I’ll ask again about it.

    In the meantime, many of the statistics come from census data. You might be able to find what you’re looking for here:
