I love learning about Nazi Germany and its rise and downfall. The problem is that there are so many views on how it rose and fall. Therefore, I am wondering what you guys think about these two titles. Would you recommend them? Would you say they are 100% accurate?

The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich by William Shirer

Wages of Destruction by Adam Tooze.

Shirer was a journalist who saw a lot of Nazi Germany up close. You get a lot of good anecdotes and things of that sort there. Its political and economic theoretical framework isn’t all that great, but you’ll have fun with it. I’m not familiar with Tooze’s book.
