Is there a helpful database that shows the level of wealth and income inequality in Scandinavian countries before they adopted Social democratic policies? I’m curious if it can be shown that inequality there was always lower, as that would discredit the notion that wealth redistribution is necessary in order to prevent oligarchy and ultra high concentrations of wealth.
