I have been in many debates with different peers, and whenever I say that the free market should decide everything and government should not at all be involved with what we buy and sell, a common counter-argument that I get is “Should someone be allowed to buy a nuclear bomb?” I usually respond by asking who can afford/wants a nuclear bomb? Is there a better response?
