Thanks Brion — I’ve listened to this course a few times through and I personally enjoyed it the most (not to take away from the other wonderful courses here)
I was wondering if you had any commentary on Reagan? His rhetoric always seemed pretty solid (at least from a libertarian perspective) but his administration seemed suspect.
I would also like your thoughts on who, if any, were the least bad of the 19th century Republicans? We didn’t really get much commentary on Grant, Hayes, Garfield, Arthur, or Harrison.
