Rothbard was fond of Albro Martin, who happens to have written a book on Hill: Albro Martin, James J. Hill and the Opening of the Northwest.

Folsom’s “Myth of the Robber Barons” is great too. Folsom is a great guy. He emailed me back after I asked him a questiom about the Great Depression.
