Grounding Objective Truth

    What would Marcuse say is his standard for what ought to be? If you make statements like you ought or ought not there needs to be a standard to look at for the why. Would it all be relative or subjective or would he try to pin moral absolutes in the material alone? It seems to me there are huge gaps and flaws in the man’s approach…perhaps to place himself in a place of power?
