Garrison on Hazlitt

    Professor Herbener,

    In the introduction to Time and Money, Roger Garrison expresses an unfavorable opinion of Hazlitt’s Failure of the New Economics – he calls it the work of a “hostile and unreceptive eavesdropper”, or something like that. Do you have any idea what he might have found objectionable about Hazlitt’s book? Does Hazlitt make any major mistakes in his analysis of the GT?
