I did a few back-of-the-envelope calculations regarding social security, medicare and medicaid on my blog (impartialexaminer.com) and I was surprised by the results. I was curious if the assumptions made and the subsequent analysis hold up.
I can think of a few variables that may skew my numbers one way or another, but as far as I can see, as back-of-the-envelope calculations go, the analysis is sound.
