Hello Professor!

I’m gathering resources for my paper this term and it is over the transition from Cottage Manufacturing to Factories. To my surprise there seems to be nothing out there directly on this. Most of my sources are sparse treatments in books almost as an afterthought. I was wondering if you had any good books or sources I could use.

Have you looked at the sources I mention on the page for the lecture on the Industrial Revolution in Britain? I don’t really like Hobsbawm, but I bet you could mine his bibliographies for some sources on the transition you want to write about.
