I have to admit I didn’t know this about nullification before. Is it as simple as a state saying “no we don’t want to follow this law?” What issues if any in our current government could be handled through nullification? For example could a state with medical marijuana decide it didn’t want to follow Federal drug laws? Could a state that feels Common Core, or Federal Dept. of Education overreach (being illegal anyway via the 10th Amendment), could nullify those policies too? Can a state nullify any unconstitutional law?

In general, states today enforce unconstitutional federal policies in order to obtain the federal funding Congress offers them for doing so. All they’d have to do to cease being complicit in this is stop taking the federal money. Good luck.
