My wife is reading Chris Kyle’s Autobiography American Sniper She admire’s the discipline and physical training of elite forces soldiers, but isn’t impressed by support for the wars in the middle east, and justifying killing people by saying they would have killed more people if left to live. Can anyone suggest a book, maybe another biography where the soldier / officer faces a moral crisis and expresses dissatisfaction with how the state uses the military?
