I’m studying history at the moment and given the great emphasis on history on this website I was wondering if there were any tips on doing history like for the research or the work with source material etc=

I use a couple of chapters from it in one of my university courses, and on the whole I think it does a good job of laying out the language and methodology of the discipline.
