Are there any out there? Bueller? I am (more than) curious, which industries would you recommend for further investigation to a college-educated 20 something? With the imminent sovereign debt debacle and the resulting economic dislocation fast approaching, are there any sectors of the economy that you foresee as being more sustainable than others in the wake of the Great Shakedown? Any you would avoid touching with a ten foot pole, i.e. real estate broker circa Nov. 2007? I was considering buying a franchise for example, but I now see what a horrendous decision that would be as consumer credit dries up. What are the best routes to prosperity in a bankrupt socialist nation, in your opinion, without having to resort to becoming a looter oneself?
