An amateur historian by the name of Mark David Ledbetter wrote two books on U.S. history, America’s Forgotten History Parts 1 and 2, that covers the history of the U.S. from the colonial period to the end of the civil war. I read the first volume, which covers the material up through the Presidency of James Madison, and enjoyed it very much. Has anyone else here read it? Did you like it? Have you read the second one?
I’m not sure when the books on the post civil war era will be published, or if they’ll be published at all.
