I’m currently doing a research paper on Leon Czolgosz, McKinley’s assassin, investigating the question of whether he was a genuine, radical anarchist who committed the act out of ideology, or if he was just a mentally unbalanced individual. Have you ever considered this question, or have any thoughts on it? And do you have any book or source recommendations on this topic?
My apologies for the delay here — I thought I had it set to alert me when new comments and questions came in. I’m sorry to say I don’t have any particular insight on this question.
