I really want to have a go at discussing deflation with some people, however, there’s one thing that Tom Wood’s says quite often in his talks and that’s America had a great period of deflation (a century?) and America grew amazingly well. What period was this? Are there other nations that also experienced great periods of deflation and yet became more prosperous over that time? Is there something that I can point to as confirmation?

This is pretty much all of U.S. history during peacetime, from the beginning of the republic through the early 20th century. The links on this page should be helpful: https://libertyclassroom.com/prices/
