I’ve been enjoying the lectures on Colonial Latin America, but after episode 10 it sounded like there were more on the way. Are there supposed to be more episodes in that series? Thanks!

I’m coming to the end of the series, and I too got the same impression: that there’d be more episodes. I think we should be told !!

Also, I thought there’d be more history about the individual countries in S America: Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Venezuela etc and their history: from indigenous populations, through Hispanisation, rebellion, early leaders (Simon de Bolivar, etc), economic success (Cuba, Venezuela, Argentina) then economic failure with Chavezism and Peronism, etc.

Maybe a bit too much stuff for 10 episodes !

Would be an interesting follow-up course though, I think.
