In your videos on the ratification of the Constitution you discussed the debate about whether or not to include a Bill of Rights. Those who were not in favor took this position because they believed that whatever was not included was not a right. Can you give an example of some possible missing “rights” from our Constitution?
Their point was that since an enumeration could not possibly be complete, the implication would be that Congress was free to violate some of what had always been understood to be our rights.
