I’m not sure if anyone noticed, but the TV show “The Simpsons” briefly mentioned austrian economics in their recent episode. Mr. Burns released the hounds on some economists and he said “notice how the keynesians climb trees and the austrians hide under rocks.” I’m not sure if this was supposed to imply something, but I found it curious that the line was even in the show considering that probably 95% or more of the audience has no idea what those references mean. I know this is sort of a frivolous non-educational post, but I thought it was worth sharing.
